Founded by Line Ramstad and Karen workers in Thailand. “Gyaw gyaw” is karen language and means slowly, step by step. This reflects Gyaw’s philosophy about gentle and sustainable improvement. Gyaw focuses on knowledge, process and results that are sustainable in terms of ecology, economy and culture.

Komitu Architects
Komitu Architects’ aim is to create socially and ecologically responsible architecture. Komitu was established by six study friends in 2010 in order to realize the Kouk Khleang Youth Center in Cambodia, originating to an Aalto University field trip. Komitu is part of the finnish Ngo Ukumbi.
